My experience as an out of state buyer could not have been more professional. Ralph and the team immediately made me feel confident that they would handle all the details on the transaction with me in another state. They provided excellent negotiation advice, timely updates and even attended home inspections in my absence. In the meantime they provided me with recommendations of local services and just kept making sure I was taken care of as a client. We first got to know Dana, Mark, and the rest of the Bambace-Peterson team when they arranged the sale of our townhouse in Carmel. The experience was so overwhelmingly positive that, when it came time to buy, we never considered working with anyone else.

The buying process began with Dana taking the time to understand our needs, likes, dislikes, and areas of interest. Dana, with her vast experience and expertise of Monterey Peninsula real estate market, helped narrow down our focus to those areas that best fit our needs and budget.

When it came to actually searching for properties, Dana would filter out those that were not a good fit. Dana also attended open houses and agent-only previews on our behalf and send us her assessment. Since we were traveling from a couple of hours away, Dana and her team would put together mini-tours to view several homes in a single visit. These tours were always well organized with detailed information packs on the listings we were to see. As we visited homes, Dana would listen to our feedback, and give us her honest opinions and assessment which we really appreciated. We never had any doubt that Dana genuinely cared about finding the right home for us.

When we eventually found the right house, in the right location, Dana and the team sprang into action. Dana advised on the details of our offer, and negotiated with the seller’s agent on our behalf. Once the offer was accepted, Dana and the team handled the arrangements for all of the due diligence and contingency inspections with a team member always present for the actual inspection. The reports were always passed along in a timely manner. Any questions we had were answered fully and frankly. Dana and the team also oversaw any repair or remedy that was necessary.

After we closed, Dana and the team’s commitment to helping us didn’t stop even though the transaction was complete. We asked Dana for recommendations to find various contractors and trades-people to get the house move-in ready. These included painting, floor refinishing, plumbing, electrical, and move-in house cleaning. Every professional recommended by Dana and the team has been fantastic — the quality of work, craftsmanship, and attention to detail have been exceptional.

Buying can be stressful, but Dana’s calming and steadying hand was with us throughout the entire process making it as seamless as possible. We know that Dana and the team are also going to be there for us for any future help whenever we might need them.

I started working with Dana a full 5 years before I bought my new home. Even though I was not in a position to buy at that time, I knew Carmel was my ultimate destination and Dana was so generous with her time to help me develop the profile of where I wanted to live and familiarize me with my options. Then, more recently, I accelerated my search and Dana accelerated her work on my behalf--and also introduced Melissa into the mix as they tagged teamed me to help me find the house I would ultimately buy.
